Is there a way for the list owner to easily and conveniently send an
announcement to a mailing list? I know the following way works,
Send mail to the mailing list itself with the body of the message like
this,
Announcement follows.....
However, the list owner may forget to put the "Approved: PASSWORD" line
and the following blank line before copying and pasting the
announcement. Is there a way, such as setting up another alias,
modifying a script like "approve" and "resend", etc. to make it more
straightforward for the list owner to make an annoucement? Ideally, if
the list owner can just send the mail to,
mailinglist-announce@somehost.somedomain
and the body of the message is just the announcement itself.
Any suggestions or ideas woiuld be appreciated. Thanks.
