information on error no. and return error code?

Below is what the "Mail Delivery Subsystem
<MAILER-DAEMON@is.moftec.gov.cn>" respond to me after I issue the
command "echo 'lists'|/opt/majordomo/wrapper majordomo". I searched the
mailing list archive at "http://www.hpc.uh.edu/majordomo-users/"; but got
not much idea. Is there any URLs I could find detailed information on
the return codes and error no. like those in "554
"|/opt/majordomo/wrapper majordomo"... unknown mailer error 2"?
