Subject: CRLF in addresses

I just installed Majordomo on my linux system only to
discover there seems to be something wrong. I'll admit I
probably misconfigured something, but I'm stumped on what.

The problem is I seem to be getting a blank line prior to
the subject line of outgoing messages. In addition, there
seem to be newlines after the addresses. The following is an
example:

Someone (possibly you) has requested that your email address be added
to or deleted from the mailing list "email@futurepress.com
    ".

If you really want this action to be taken, please send the following
commands (exactly as shown) back to "Majordomo@futurepress.com
    ":

    	auth b7c8e7a4 subscribe email jeff@ella.futurepress.com

If you do not want this action to be taken, simply ignore this message
and the request will be disregarded.

If your mailer will not allow you to send the entire command as a single
line, you may split it using backslashes, like so:

            auth b7c8e7a4 subscribe email \
            jeff@ella.futurepress.com

If you have any questions about the policy of the list owner, please
    contact "email-approval@futurepress.com
    ".

    Thanks!

    Majordomo@futurepress.com

If you have any idea what I might be doing wrong, please let
me know.

The system is: RedHat Linux 5.0, Sendmail 8.9.1, and Majordomo
1.9.4

Thanks again,

jeff
