I just installed Majordomo on my linux system only to
discover there seems to be something wrong. I'll admit I
probably misconfigured something, but I'm stumped on what.
The problem is I seem to be getting a blank line prior to
the subject line of outgoing messages. In addition, there
seem to be newlines after the addresses. The following is an
example:
Date: Wed, 29 Jul 1998 11:56:36 -0700
Message-Id: <199807291856.LAA06878@ella.futurepress.com>
To: jeff@ella.futurepress.com
From: Majordomo@futurepress.com
Subject: Confirmation for subscribe email
Reply-To: Majordomo@futurepress.com
--
Someone (possibly you) has requested that your email address be added
to or deleted from the mailing list "email@futurepress.com
".
If you really want this action to be taken, please send the following
commands (exactly as shown) back to "Majordomo@futurepress.com
":
auth b7c8e7a4 subscribe email jeff@ella.futurepress.com
If you do not want this action to be taken, simply ignore this message
and the request will be disregarded.
If your mailer will not allow you to send the entire command as a single
line, you may split it using backslashes, like so:
auth b7c8e7a4 subscribe email \
jeff@ella.futurepress.com
If you have any questions about the policy of the list owner, please
contact "email-approval@futurepress.com
".
