MAJORDOMO ABORT - Yikes!

I just received this message.  We have been having some screwy things 
go on with our mail server (we had a disk go out and had to recover 
from a backup) and was wondering if this is a permissions 
problem, especially with the permissions of the /var/tmp directory?

MAJORDOMO ABORT (mj_digest)!!

mj_digest: can't get lock
'/usr/local/majordomo/lists/tgci-forum-digest.config.LOCK'

Any help is greatly appreciated,
