First let me say, yes I have read the FAQ's, everything in
/usr/dist/majordomo/Doc , everything I could find on-line,all the
posts I could find in the archive's link you have here, and tried
sacrificing several live chickens. Everything I could find said to
contact you folks... but I must warn you, I'm still fairly new to
performing admin tasks...
I'm running all this with majordomo 1.94.4 and PERL 5.004_4
on a Sun Sparc4 running Solaris2.5.1 and sendmail 8.8.5
Here's the beef: I've set up a simple, non-administrated
mailing list (auto everything), for some of our users. Everything
works great, EXCEPT the unsubscribe command. It keeps giving me the
following error:
MAJORDOMO_ABORT
chown(258,12, "/usr/dist/majordomo/Lists/ndn-net.new"): not owner
Yet when I check the permissions on the file, it's owned by majordom
in group daemon, and has permissions of 0660 when created (or at least
when
I am able to view them).
I've tried everything I know of (which albeit isn't all that much)
but I'm stuck. Help? Please?
