Yes.

Majordomo uses an odd (although to my knowledge theoretically correct)
regular expression in there somewhere that causes perl 5.005 to choke.
The perl folks are aware of the problem and will be issuing a fix,
however you should be aware that perl 5.005 contains some fairly major
changes that are still not completely shaken out. At this point the
conventional wisdom is to avoid it.
