chown(258,12 "/usr/dist/majordomo/Lists/ndn-net.new"): not owner
Well, after some VERY MUCH appreciated help from you all, I just
wanted to write and say
that I found the problem, and to perhaps warn some other people away
from having the same
trouble....
It turns out that one of the previous employees here who performed
admin duties has added
Majordomo into NIS with a different UID then the entry into /etc/passwd
had.... so if all else fails,
perhaps you'll want to check that problem out...
