I'm using a fresh install of Majordomo-1.94.4 using sendmail 8.9.1
running on RedHat Linux 5.0. I have been able to compile and configure
majordomo without any errors, except when I test it using the command:
echo 'lists' | mail majordomo
There is a test file in the lists folder and permissions to the folder
are set for majordomo (as described in the install procedures that came
with the source). The error message that is returned at the command line
is:
/www/majordomo-1.94.4/wrapper majordomo... Can't create
output: Permission denied
I also get a email message from the Mail Delivery Subsystem:
----- The following addresses had permanent fatal errors
-----
/www/majordomo-1.94.4/wrapper majordomo
(expanded from: majordomo)
As far as I can tell the permissions on the folders are correct. Please
let me know if there is anything I might be missing or could try.
Thanks.
