Believe it or not, the least painful way of doing it is to require all
subscribers to unsubscribe from the old list and subscribe to the new one
(with associated un/zubscription instructions). This goes a long way
towards avoiding problems of zubscribers forgetting where the list should
be (and as a nice benefit, everyone gets an up-to-date copy of the list's
info file).
