While I wouldn't have stated things quite as strongly, I do feel that one
shouldn't be installing and creating lists without already knowing about
mail transport. But what can we expect in a world in which there are a
growing number of sites whose postmasters don't understand about mail
transport? :-(
But some of the queries were about explanations in the comments in the
.config files. And that material is directed toward list managers (as
opposed to majordomo managers). So, I do see space for a real manual
directed toward list managers who are not majordomo-owner. There are lots
of different pieces including the info for list owners doc and some other
things, but it would be nice if some kind soul would coordinate an effort
to bring the pieces together with an introduction to management mailing
lists in general. It won't be me, though.
