I very much agree with Bill Houle. I have spent years now instructing
list managers who have read the list-manager documentation, how to do
the things that are the normal stuff of list management. In fact I would
volunteer to write a manual if such an act of volunteering was realistic
given my present schedule. But if there is still no such manual in a while,
I might be able to do it. The "while", however, might be quite long
in my case.
Majorcool, BTW, goes a long way towards alleviating some of these problems,
since it presents an interface that people are more willing to engage with
than the e-mail interface.
