Not really.  What's needed is someone who can write well who can also read
what the programmers produce, translate it, find places where things are
underdocumented, ask appropriate questions to fill in the holes, and
translate the answers.  It is not necessary to actually be familiar with
the code to write documentation for the code.

Majordomo is in a relatively unique position, because it needs several
kinds of documentation which have very little overlap:

programming documentation
installation documentation
site owner documentation
list owner documentation
list member documentation

Ouch.  Of course, these are allowed to get more technical and less
user-friendly as they go up.

In any case, anyone who desires to help with documentation for the
development version is welcomed to join majordomo-workers and contribute.
We have one hard worker who is getting up to speed now, but we can always
use more.
