One is the "majordomo.ora" file that is included in Majordomo tarballs.
The second is probably the Majordomo FAQ, which is likewise included in
Majordomo tarballs.

FWIW, here is my own 'beginner's guide'
Majordomo List Administration in Brief
Any keyword enclosed in angled brackets, such as <list> or <passwd>, means
you type the appropriate string, without the brackets. Any keyword
enclosed in square brackets, such as [<address>], are optional keywords and
might not be necessary or desirable. Keywords surrounded by curly braces
with vertical bars means that you must provide one of the keywords in the
set.
passwd <list> <old_password> <new_password>
Each list has an administration password associated with it. This
password is to prevent maliciousness and accidents which could corrupt
the subscriber database or list configuration files. It is required that
you change your list's password immediately after the list is created,
and recommended that you change it every few months. You should not use
the same passwords as any of your regular accounts.
"list" is the name of your list, "old_password" is the current list
password, and "new_password" is the new password for the list.
approve <password> {subscribe|unsubscribe} <list> [<address>]
This is the command you will most often be using; it is used to subscribe
(add) or unsubscribe (remove) people to and from your mailing list.
"password" is your list's password, "list is the name of your list,
"address" is the e-mail address of the person you want to add or remove.
NOTE: the subscription address both must be valid and in a format to
which the Majordomo server is able to deliver mail.
If the approval command is longer than your screen is wide, you may have
problems if your editor enforces word wrap. There are two options:
* Disable word wrap. Not all editors will let you do this.
* Wrap the line and place a backslash at the end of the first line:
approve <password> subscribe <list> \
Richard=L.=Pieri%IS%DFCI@eye.dfci.harvard.edu
who <list>
This will provide a list of subscribers to your list.
which [<address>]
This will tell you all lists to which you are (or <adddress is)
subscribed.
help
This will send you the Majordomo help file for general users.
These are by no mans all of the commands Majordomo understands, but they
are the command you are most likely to be using. The administrator's help
file is not directly available from the server, but should be made
available to you when your list is created or you take over administration
from someone else. I fyou need a copy of the complete list administrator's
reference guide, or if you have any other Majordomo-related problems,
please contact me, Rich Pieri <rich.pieri@prescienttech.com>.
