I'm about to install Majordomo software for our company . However, I
don't want to do it before I'll know that it will work at all with our
mailing system. My problem is that I cannot subscribe to the mailing
list (majordomo-users@greatcircle.com) using my exchange email account
from work (this is why I'm using this yahoo email). Whenever I send a
request for subscription I do receive the confirmation email back.
However, when I respond to the confirmation email, I never hear from
Majordomo again. Afterwards, if I check for subscription with "which
my@email" it shows that I'm not on any lists. For some reason the
Majordomo can't reach me (my email bounces?) and I don't know what to
do about it.
When I subscribe, I do specify my email address which is known to
work. I'm thinking that at some point the Majordomo software looks at
the "From:" address and develops a problem there.
