I highly recommend the O'Reilly "Managing Mailing Lists" book.
Spend the $; better than most anything on the net.
BTW, don't forget to have a look at the Majordomo chapter from
O'Reilly's "Managing Internet Information Services" which can be
found in the Doc directory of the source distribution. This might
be good enough for the basics.
