There are a lot of different scripts to automate the mailing list.  Look
at the majordomo FAQ.  There is a section for all of the web interfaces.

Most of them do a lot more then simply subscribe/unsubscribe.  If you are 
looking for a script that will simply subscribe/unsubscribe, I wrote one 
for my list at www.groupstudy.com I can send to you or post on this
mailing list (or I can put it on my FTP server now that I think about it).
