I believe its the first 10 lines which are searched for administrative commands
(or is it 15?).  What if you put the offending line on line 16 or after?

Another option is to mispell zubcribe (like that), which looks kind of strange
but people seem to use it somewhat regularly.

Or, you could change the sub alias to some other synonym that is not checked
for.
