I just signed up to the list and I'm sure whether this message has
gotten through - I haven't recieved any mail from the users list. I'll
post again
majordomo 1.94.4
perl 5.004_1
SparcLinux on a Sun SparcStation4 (Sun4m)
sendmail 8.8.5-4
I installed majordomo user the user 'listserv' (I didn't like
'majordom') with the group 'deamon'. I have the 'wrapper config-test'
wroking well for a basic user 'udall' with no detectable errors.
When I email brassica_group-request with 'config brassica_group passwd'
I get an error 'Can't create output: Permission denied' as the subject
line in a message to the list's owner.
Any suggestions why I can't get a config response? The config file
*was* created upon the request but not sent to the listower because of
'Can't create output: Permission denied'. Please help. I burnt a lot
of candle was last night trying to get my first list setup with no luck
and I'm exasperated.
Below contains setup configuration information:
'wrapper config-test' output:
USER=udall
HOME=/usr1/local/majordomo
effective user = listserv (uid 513)
effective group = daemon udall admin lab webheads users (gid 2 500
103 102 101 100 )
real user = listserv (uid 513)
real group = daemon udall admin lab webheads users (gid 2 500
103 102 101 100 )
