The filename is easy: the name of the list. The location is another
matter; it is configurable at installation and everyone does it
differently. Ultimately, you will have to find it. The aliases used
by the Mj system will be your big clue (as well as /etc/majordomo.cf
if it was placed there).

Normal behavior is that mail comes from the person who sent it, and
replies go back to sender unless reply-all was used.
Short of hacking, there is no easy way to make it NOT come from the
sender, if by chance that is what you are asking.
However, it sounds more like yours is from sender but replies go to
list. This is the reply_to setting in the list config file,
normally blank but probably set in yours. This is in <list>.config
in the same place as you will find the list location above.
