Greetings,

After giving up on the rpm I just did a fresh install of
majordomo 1.94.4 from the source which I downloaded directly from
GreatCircle. Unfortuantly I'm still having problems sending mail to the
list. When I try to send to the list the mail is created and sendmail
sends it off and, well, there it stays... lost forever in the electronic
haze of cyberspace.

I did some poking around. The mail created by my majordomo
installation is a bit different than that which, pine for instance,
creates. The primary difference that I notice is in the headers:

majordomo header is as follows:

C::include:/usr/local/lib/majordomo/lists/matchmakers
RFD:brent@rmi.net
RFD:grandma@unionavenue.com
H?P?Return-Path: <brent>

While the pine header for the same mailing is:
S<brent@rmi.net>
RPFD:<brent@rmi.net>
RPFD:<grandma@rmi.net>
H?P?Return-Path: <brent@rmi.net>

The obvious difference is the missing <> around the email addresses. I
don't know if this has anything to do with my problem, but I'd sure like
to get majordomo running and any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm running RedHat Linux, sendmail 1.8.x and majordomo works great when
called as majordomo (info, help, lists, etc). The problem only appears
when I try to mail the list: matchmakers@unionavenue.com

Just in case, here's my "current" sendmail aliases:

owner-owner: postmaster
majordomo: "|/usr/local/lib/majordomo/wrapper majordomo"
owner-majordomo: brent
majordomo-owner: brent
majordom: brent

# Matchmakers Mailing List
matchmakers: :include:/usr/local/lib/majordomo/lists/matchmakers
owner-matchmakers: brent@rmi.net
matchmakers-request: "|/usr/local/lib/majordomo/wrapper request-answer
matchmakers"
matchmakers-approval: brent@rmi.net

Sorry to be a pain... and I'd be happy to send blood if it is needed...

	Thanks in advance,

	Brent Sims
