What does your web server run as? nobody/nobody maybe? It sounds
like you are trying to run the majorcool.pl directly as a CGI
instead of running the CGI script that was installed in the
location you specified for cgi-bin.
The script sets up an environment and invokes majorcool.pl under
Majordomo's wrapper, so it will run as [in your case] mail/daemon
(just like the rest of Majordomo's tools).
