I'm trying to set up majordomo 1.94.4 on a RedHat 5.2 system
running kernel version 2.1.129, sendmail 8.8.7 and perl 5.004.
I have followed the install instruction correctly, doubled
checked, but I can't get things to work.
wrapper config-test runs without a problem and says all is OK.
However,
bash$ echo test | wrapper majordomo
mj_majordomo: ABORT
Majordomo@warp.stat.ubc.ca: is not a valid return address.
Also, echo test | mail majordomo results in the following email sent
to owner-majordomo@warp.stat.ubc.ca

The problem may be that Majordomo@warp.stat.ubc.ca is not a valid
return address but changing $whoami to other addresses generates the
same error message.
I have seen quite a few postings on the mailing list regarding this
error message, including some possible dns problems, but nothing that
helps me.
