Unable to install Majordomo

Hi
	I have installed majordomo and now I am trying to 
create a list, I am following the instructions given in the NEWLIST file. 
I created the aliases as mentioned in the file but when I try to send 
mail to one of the aliases it says user not found. Also the last 
instruction in the file asks me to give confing <listname> <listname>.admin command 
to majordomo but I don't know the exact way of doing this. 
Can someone please help me.

The majordomo version that I am using is 1.94.4
