The two recommended versions of perl are 5.004_04 and 5.005_02. Other
versions are best avoided. Check version with "perl -v". Watch of for
having serveral versions installed. Check what path is refered to in the
majordom script.
To check which version the majordomo script is run under, test with
`head -1 majordomo | cut -c 3-` -v
