Hi,
I've just setup Majordomo on an ancient Ultrix 4.4 box running
sendmail 8.9.2, majordomo 1.94.4 and perl 5.004_04.
Now after a couple of hours reading FAQs and DOCs, I have it
almost up and running as I want it except for the following big
problem: The list owner (me) does not get any e-mail from the
list.
I've already checked the following:
- announcements = yes in list.config
- added myself manually to the lists/listname file
- send manually an email to owner-list@...... This arrives perfectly
- checked sendmail logs: it says: mail from xxx to "tom" SENT!
But it just does not arrive. All other users work without problems.
I have the suspicion that sendmail does not like to send an e-mail
from owner-list to owner-list, meaning: an e-mail where the sender
and the recipient are essentially the same addresses.
Hmm. I've got "confME_TOO" set in my sendmail.mc File which allows
me to do just that! Send myself an e-mail and it works properly.
Any other ideas anyone?
Thanks // Tom
