Hello,
I've installed Majordomo 1.94.4 on RedHAT Linux 5.2. I'm using Sendmail
8.8.7. Majordomo's config-test (run as me) says everything is great.
When I send mail to 'majordomo' (say, the "lists" command, or
"subscribe test"), I get a mailer error which is sent to root from
Sendmail... The error is:
554 "|/usr/local/mail/majordomo-1.94.4/wrapper majordomo"... unknown
mailer error 9
I also receive a message from Majordomo itself... If I send the "lists"
command, it give me a list containing the 'test' list (which is all there
is at the moment). If I give it a "subscribe test", it returns a message
saying ">>>> subscribe test", but doesn't say "Succeeded" under it (as
well, if I go look at the list file, I'm not on it)...
I think this is a pretty standard install, using the wonderful Configure
script (my hat goes off to this one-- last time I installed MajorDomo I
spent several hours getting it up and running... I might be up to an
hour now :-).
Incidently, I also installed MajorCool, which looks... well... Major
Cool... I'm getting a "Internal Server Error" when I use the browse
funtion... It says:
Premature end of script headers:/home/httpd/cgi-bin/majordomo
The web server is Apache, the standard RPM install with RedHAT 5.2. The
browser is Netscape 4.03.
I think these two problems might well be related... Can anybody shed some
light on what's going on? I'd be eternally greatfull...
-Matt-
