Hi all. I have a small problem with Majordomo.
First, the specs: I'm running Linux RH 5.2 with
perl-5.00502-2 and majordomo-1.94.4-6 with
sendmail-8.8.7-20.
If I add the following lines:
majordomo: "|/usr/lib/majordomo/wrapper majordomo"
owner-majordomo: me,
majordomo-owner: me
to /etc/majordomo.aliases
and add a line (does it matter where, at the beginning, middle
or end???) in /etc/sendmail.cf containing:
OA/etc/majordomo.aliases
then MAJORDOMO only works if I send it mail from
WITHIN my system (i.e. being logged on as a user on the
system on which majordomo runs).
But if I add those SAME lines to the
/etc/aliases file (and run "newaliases") then everything works
(i.e. both with on-site and remote emails)!
