Subject: Forwarding / Aliasing problems.

I'm a real enwcomer to majordomo, but I downloaded the majordomo
package, and followed the instructions in there.ter a brief fumble
with Redhat's perl 5.004m4 problem, I downloaded the perl-5.004m7 rpm,
and installed it (Although perl reports subversion 5... dunno why...)
I looked at the webpages, and, like I was told, I went to the FAQ, and
to the mailing list archive.
I still can't seem to find the problem.
So, primary info:
Distrib: RH 5.2
OS: Linux 2.0.36
Majordomo: 1.94.4
Mailer: Sendmail 8.8.7

The Problem:
Once I've subscribed to a list, then try to post to it, I get a bounce:
550 :include:/home/majordomo/lists/test... Cannot open
/home/majordomo/lists/test: Permission denied
554 test-list... aliasing/forwarding loop broken

The FAQ seems to say that this will be one of two things:
1)There's no-one subscribed to the mailing list (This is not true,
there are twi email addresses in the /home/majordomo/lists/test file)
2) File perms are wrong. I've checked these, and they don't seem to
be. File perms are as following:
/home/majordomo: Owned by majordomo.daemon, perms 755
/home/majordomo/lists: Owned by majordomo.daemon, perms 770
/home/majordomo/lists/test: Owned by majordomo.daemon, perms 664

This seems t obe the file (And it's parent dirs) that's giving the
problem. Can anyone tell me what's wrong here?

Also, I'm subscribed to toomany mailing lists already, and yahoo mail
doesn't like many postings, like a mailing list genertes. So, would
people mind mailing me privately? Thanks very much in advance :)

TIA

Phil Stoneman.
