I'm pretty sure this is mentioned in the FAQ, but if you are really tied to
Sendmail then you can use bulk_mailer. If you are really Perl-savvy and
want to hack you can play with my TLB program (see
http::/www.hpc.uh.edu/majordomo/) but I don't work on it any longer and it
still has bugs. It does lots of neat things, though.
The next generation of TLB is built into the development version of
Majordomo.
If you're not tied to Sendmail, you will find many speed gains by switching
to Exim, Postfix, Zmailer, qmail, or probably anything _but_ Sendmail.
