I've been using majordomo for a good while now, but have never seen this
one and was wondering if anyone had a solution. If there is one at all.

I've got a closed list with a restriction on posting (just me). What I
believe is happening: 1) original message to list goes out, 2) hits an
address/server that sez no way, and 3) bounces the message back to the list
as me.

and then loop continues until I kill it. Usually what I see is a repeating
message with the message footer continually being appended to subequent
messages, the From: line changing to what the subsequent responses are and
a timestamp of messages repeating every hour.

I realize simply removing the offending address from the list will solve
the problem until another one like it comes along. And, I really wasn't
looking forward to adding a moderator approval option to the list (one more
step for me -- it is after all restricted to my posting).

What can be done when a message gets sent back to the list when it
"appears" to be from me? Anything? SOL?

Thanks.
