Hello,
I would like to ask a question. I started playing with majordomo
very recently and I keep getting an error and don't seem to be able
to find out why:
when I send anything to majordomo, for example:
"echo 'lists' | mail majordomo", I get a message from the
mailer daemon which looks something like this:
----- The following addresses had permanent fatal errors -----
"|/home/usr/majordomo/wrapper majordomo"
(expanded from: majordomo)
----- Transcript of session follows -----
Message delivered to mailing list majordomo
554 "|/home/usr/majordomo/wrapper majordomo"... unknown mailer error 9
Running ./wrapper config-test from the majordomo home dir gives
no errors.
I understand from the majordomo FAQ that error no. 9 is a return code
from perl but that's all that I have found out. My perl version is
5.004_04 which is supposed to work fine with majordomo. My majordomo
version is 1.94.4, I have Linux Red Hat 5.2.
Does anyone have an idea what I could do to fix this and what this
error means?
