This list seems to center on installation and configuration of the
majordomo server itself. there is another list
list-managers@greatcircle.com, which is aimed more at list management
issues.

This isn't clear to me whether you have access to the server running
majordomo, or you simply have the admin password to a specific list. In
order to change the destination of the listname-owner alias, you'll need
root priviledges on the server running majordomo. On my linux system
running sendmail, they're defined in /etc/aliases. After editing that
file, I run `newaliases` to get sendmail to re-build its index and
recognize the changes.
Whether you are a list-owner or a majordomo-owner, I would suggest
downloading a copy of the majordomo distribution and familiarizing
yourself with it. the doc directory contains list-owner-info which will
answer many questions about capabilities and configuration. If you also
need to manage majordomo itself, I would suggest reading the INSTALL and
NEWLIST documents. Also get the latest FAQ, which is _not_ the version in
the majordomo 1.94.4 distribution, but is much more frequently updated at

What's a little texas public radio station doing on a Toronto-based
network? You're a long way from home, Pardner!

Microsoft has just announced it is renaming Windows NT version 5 to
"Windows 2000."
Is that the ultimate millennium bug or what?
