I've the same problem (or something very close to it)!
I wrote 2 times to majordomo-users about this but, I don't know why, my
message is not on the list (maybe adminstrivia??).
The text follows:
My environment:
MD 1.94 (I'm trying to test md 2.0 (alpha)...please wait)
Perl 5.003
sendmail 5.64 (in a close future I'll upgrade to 8.9)
DEC Unix 4.0A (will be upgraded asap)
The story:
I'm trying to set a digest for one of my lists. I wish to do it via a
cron "task" owned by majordomo user ("Majordom") and so I've written
this line in the Majordom crontab
00 1 * * 0 echo mkdigest microg-digest <password>| mail
majordomo@mars.unina.it
(make digest every Sunday at 1:00 AM)
The problem:
no digest is produced
I've tested the crontab line in the root crontab and it works!
Have you any idea?
