Hello,

I am using majordomo and came into following problem:

I wish to have main list named, lets say, BINGO, and some sublists called
BINGO1, BINGO2, BINGO3 and so on. Everybody subscribed to BINGO[1-3] lists
should recive information, once it's posted to BINGO list. I think this is
the easiest part and can be done either by writing something like this to
/etc/aliases:
BINGO: BINGO1, BINGO2, BINGO3
or to have cron script, that will concatenate lists/BINGO[1-3] files into
one: lists/BINGO.

The tricky part is: how can the user delete himself from the BINGO lists?
I wish to have it done in BOTH following ways:
unsubscribe BINGO
or (at user option)
unsubscribe BINGO1

in either case, it should work in such a way, that the user will stop
receiving mails from both lists after one unsubsription.
It is also important since it is possible that the user will not know the
exact list number he will be subscribed to. And this is the third problem:
once the user tries to:
subscribe bingo@some.where.com
I'd like him to be subscribed to exactly bingo3@some.where.com.
or, at least, to send him an e-mail stating: "sorry, subscribe by hand
to bingo3@some.where.com"

So, in short: is there any mechanism implemented in Majordomo, that will
enable the majordomo-owner to create any superlists containg the users in
sublists and to manage their contents transparently from the point of view
of users? The people on my lists are rather computer-illiterated and it
will be hard for them to understand that in order to stop receiving mails
from bingo@some.where.com they have to send
unsubscribe bino3@some.where.com

I could not find answer to this problem in archives.
At least in those I have been peeking in ;-)))
Thanks in advance,
Mark
