I'm still not sure just what functionality it is that you want
(i.e. exactly what data you want from this log) but we keep the following
for each message in the archive index:
Message number
Byte count
Byte offset within mbox file
Line count
Line offset within mbox file
Lines in body
Quoted lines in body (the regexp is configurable)
Message date
>From
Subject
all References/In-Reply-To.
Is that what you're looking for? If it is, you don't need Majordomo2 to
get it; just download logmail from http://www.hpc.uh.edu/majordomo/.
