 This is covered in the FAQ, question 3.6.

Basically, it boils down to three things:
1) Don't use the oft-cited example of <listname>-outgoing or
<listname>-list as your outgoing alias.  Be more creative.
2) Add a null entry to your <listname> alias so the outgoing alias won't
be revealed in the Received: header on all postings.
3) Disable the EXPN and VRFY commands in sendmail.
