majordomo version 1.94.4
sendmail 8.8.7
linux 2.0.36/RedHat 5.2
perl 5.005_02
I have installed majordomo and it appears to work, but only locally. For
example, if I send an email from the command line or using elm, I get the
expected response (lists works, info on a test list I set up works, etc.)
However, if I send an email from outside, it does not work:
I am trying to use a separate majordomo.aliases file and it does not appear
that this alias database is being consulted for incoming email...i.e. none
of the aliases works unless I send email while telneted in to the server.
If I send an email from my desktop email (Outlook) it fails, as does email
sent from other servers.
But if I run elm or a command line, everything works fine.
yes, I've run newaliases...
yes, I touched a db file so that the majordomo.aliases would have somewhere
to go...
[root@waimea majordomo-1.94.4]# newaliases

Any ideas?
