No, a list should work like a regular list: it should send you a
copy of your own posting. Everything posted to the list should be
sent to everybody. This utter crap of denying a poster a copy of
their own posting if they forget to BCC themself really pisses me
off, and I would refuse to contribute to and perhaps even
subscribe to such a list.
