1) it sounds like u want to break the whole list into a group of
alphabetized *sub*lists: LIST:= A-LIST, B-LIST, ..., Z-LIST
rather than a list of lists:
(defun fn (x) (cond (car (x)... shudder (...that's a clisp joke :)
2) this is a *users* list, developing should be sent to the developer's
list... (majordomo@i.dont.have.a.life.com) (hehehe :)
