That didn't come across as I intended it.

majordomo will not add names to list.accept.  You don't need the
subscribers names in list.accept.  The line above essentially concatenates
the list file with the list.accept file, and will accept posts to the list
from anyone contained in either list.

The normal form of the restrict_post variable is to simply set it to the
list file itself.  That way, when majordomo adds someone to the list, they
are automatically given posting privileges.
  Concatenating another file behind the list file is only necessary if you
wish to accept posts from selected accounts which are not subscribed.
This 'addendum' file must be maintained by you.  I have heard of setting
up another 'list' in majordomo, so that the file may be remotely
maintained, but in that case you would have to give it a name that did not
contain a period. You probably would also want to omit the list alias for
that 'list', so that it could not be used as a distribution list itself...

I'm giving up.  It seems the more I try to explain, the more I muddy it
up...
