That works, but if you want people to recieve the initial intro mail
then setup the list to
subscribe_policy = auto
in your list.config
then send an email to majordomo@your.dom.ain
with
subscribe list person1@some.dom.ain
subscribe list person2@another.dom.ain
subscribe list person3@you.get.the.idea
then change the subscribe policy back to whatever you want it to be.
That way the default intro message plus whatever is in list.intro gets
sent out to all the people you just subscribed.
