Or if you don't have access to the server machine,
you can create a file that has the form:
approve <passwd> subscribe <list> <user1>
approve <passwd> subscribe <list> <user2>
approve <passwd> subscribe <list> <user3>
approve <passwd> subscribe <list> <user4>
....
approve <passwd> subscribe <list> <userN>
The problem with this is that you will get N*2 messages.
But each member does get a notice and everything works
correctly.
