I had the same problem...
What I did is make a symlink
(ln -s wrapper /etc/smrsh)
then I change this option in sendmail.cf
#O DontBlameSendmail=safe
with
O DontBlameSendmail=IncludeFileInGroupWritableDirPath
And restart sendmail.
It seems to be good...
