You can use some of the taboo_* settings in the majordomo.cf file
for sitewide implementation and in the list config file for per list
filtering.  You can also get a lot of spam blocking functionality (e.g.,
don't accept mail from domains that don't exist, don't accept mail from
dialup users, don't accept mail from a maintained list of known spammers,
etc.) out of your MTA (Mail Transport Agent, the program that accepts
mail for your site).  See information specific to your software.
