The -r option on resend's command line.  Having a copy of the relevant
aliases would make it obvious.

If you can't get the aliases, you can see if they have EXPN enabled.  Try:

telnet mail.server.name smtp
helo your.hostname
expn listname

and see if it tells you anything useful.
