I think this is a really good idea. I know that the first thing I did when
looking for
answers was scour the sendmail.org site and the greatcircle site to see if I
could
find anything at all. Having a searchable archive for the mailing list
would help
reduce the repeat of questions.
Personal opinion here but changing the Reply To would probably help also
because then the answer to the question would be included in the archive
rather than just the original question.
The one thing I will commiserate on is that the searchable archives of
this list haven't been updated since November, 1998. Jason, if I can
get the raw archives and if you could let me know what problems you ran
into preventing the continued archiving (disk space? processor power?
Glimpse/Mhonarc problems?), I'll find a place for them.
