I avoided this by setting SENDER to an administrative address
and "REPLY-TO = list" . This way Mailer-Daemon messages end up
in a special mailbox while replies goes back to the list.
The above solution works perfectly for me as I can have threads
alive without having Majordomo requests and error messages sent
back to the list.
SENDER receives 10-100 notifications on undelivered mails a day
and I can assure you some of this Mailer-Daemons are broken!
Yet none of them are mirrored to the list even though REPLY-TO
is set to <list>.
So "REPLY-TO = list" isn't necessarily a bad thing. :)
