I check the FAQ and this mailing list's archive for the answer to my
problem but have found no answer. Here are the details:
Environment
Mandrake Linux 6
Perl 5.005_03
Majordomo 1.94.4
sendmail 8.9.3
Problem
That "Unkown Mailer Error 9" issue that keeps getting mentioned. (Sorry
if I missed the apparent fix for this problem)
Setup
/etc/aliases file contents that gave me 'unkown mailer error 9':
# Majordomo Listserv
majordomo: "|/var/majordomo/wrapper majordomo"
owner-majordomo: ritter
majordomo-owner: ritter
# Majordomo Lists

#
# All Students
#
owner-toallstudents: toallstudents-owner
toallstudents: "|/var/majordomo/wrapper resend -l toallstudents"
toallstudents-owner: ritter

Things I have done:
I checked for the glitch with perl and Redhat 5.2, just because i am
running something VERY close to Redhat.
I checked permissions, and didn't find an apparent problems
I turned the debug option on for majordomo and resend, it returned
nothing for majordomo, and the following for resend:
/var/majordomo/resend [25409]: starting.
I think that the job is encountering problems in resend, but I can't
figure out the problem. Anyone have any ideas, sugestions?
