OK... to start with, I'm using
majordomo 1.94.4
Redhat 6.0
Perl 5.005_03
sendmail 8.9
This was the first error I got...
<<<
----- The following addresses had permanent fatal errors -----
"|/home/majordomo/wrapper request-answer test"
(expanded from: <test-request@bimba.fact.usu.edu>)
----- Transcript of session follows -----
sh: wrapper not available for sendmail programs
554 "|/home/majordomo/wrapper request-answer test"... Service
unavailable
>>>
But I resolved that as per instructions at
http://www.visi.com/~barr/majordomo-faq.html
and created a symbolic link in /etc/smrsh to the majordomo wrapper.
That allowed me to at least config a list and subscribe a user.
Now when I send mail from the subscribed address...the following goes
to the *list-owner's* e-mail. Nothing goes to owner-majordomo...
<<<

I've been to several faq's, searched the archives and am still
looking through the O'REILY book and would appreciate any help.
I can't figure out if I should be trouble-shooting majordomo configs
etc. or the sendmail. It will subscribe users but that's it right
now. Mail to the list doesn't work.
