I use: Majordomo 1.94.4,
Perl 5.004m7-1,
sendmail 8.8.7-20,
RH 5.2
kernel 2.0.36
It used to work fine, but started to behave oddly:
1) Each message sent to the list contains "Authentication warning:
my.host:majordomo set sender to mylist-request.
Why could it be so?
2) When I send a message as non-owner user, but with the appropriate
"approved: password" line, a strange message is being sent to the list:
-------------start----------------------------------
>From me@myhost Tue Sep 21 20:59:00 1999 +0200
Status: R
X-Status:
X-Keywords:
Return-Path: <mylist-request@myhost>
Received: (from majordomo@localhost)

From: mylist-request@myhost
Message-Id: <199909211859.UAA08856@myhost>
X-Authentication-Warning: myhost: majordomo set sender to
mylist-request@myhost using -f
...the message body goes here...
Sender: mylist-request@myhost
----end------------------------------------------
What could be the cause of problems?
